I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice-cream! Ice-cream has been a childhood favorite of mine but going into adulthood, I have learned the harmful effects processed sugar. And although I will NEVER quit ice-cream for ever, it is nice to have this recipe that is not only chemical, processed sugarless and dairy free but also tastes delectable This ice-cream is so healthy that you can eat it for breakfast for a energizing start to your day. And the main star in this recipes are BANANAS!
Here’s what you’ll need!
- 2 Frozen Bananas (cut into pieces before freezing so easier to blend)
- 1 tablespoon nut butter (I use Almond Butter)
- 1/2 tablespoon coco powder
- Vanilla extract (optional)
Directions: Blend all the ingredients in a blender and enjoy!
***Optional: Add chopped walnuts, chia seeds and cherries for extra deliciousness!
